Before the event starts
Before gameplay begins, organizers should:
- Share the Event Invitation Link to help participants prepare
- Share the event code clearly
- Ask participants to download the ReadySet App
- Explain whether gameplay is single-player or multiplayer
- Communicate start times and event duration
Recommended participant preparation
Participants should ideally:
- Charge their devices
- Update the ReadySet App
- Enable GPS / location permissions if required
- Enable camera access for the ReadySet App
This helps reduce delays and onboarding issues during gameplay.

For multiplayer events, also explain:

Helping participants understand the style of the Experience usually improves engagement.
Troubleshooting & common issues
Most issues during gameplay come from a small set of common causes. Be ready to help participants with:
- App not loading, close and reopen the ReadySet App, or reinstall if needed
- Event code not working, double-check the code and confirm the event has started
- Location not updating, make sure GPS / location permissions are enabled
- Camera not working, confirm camera access is enabled for the ReadySet App
- Weak signal, move to an area with better mobile data or Wi-Fi coverage
- Battery drain, encourage participants to start with a full charge and bring a power bank
Having a quick reference for these issues on hand helps organizers resolve problems without slowing down gameplay.
