What you can personalize

The Event details step is where you set how your experiencelooks and reads to participants, from the title in the app to the message they see when they finish. Each field plays a specific role:

  • Event name, the title participants see in the app. Keep it short and recognizable; you have up to 30 characters.
  • Event description, a short brief that frames the mission. Welcome players, explain the goal (e.g. visit checkpoints and complete challenges to score points), and flag anything time-sensitive like the leaderboard or duration.
  • Meet-up spot (optional), a physical reference point so people know where to gather before the event starts.
  • Message after completion (optional), what players see when they finish. Great for a thank-you, next steps, or letting people know where and when winners will be announced.

Branding & event code

Below the details you can attach a logotype and customize the visual branding for your event, useful for client work, sponsored experiences, and internal company events.

Each event also has an event code that participants enter in the ReadySet app to join. Pick something short, memorable, and easy to share, a single word that fits the event works best.

Tips for great event details

  • Keep the event name short and recognizable, it has to fit a 30-character limit.
  • Use the description to set the tone and explain the goal in 2–3 short lines.
  • Include any time-sensitive info (start time, duration, prize ceremony) so players are oriented from the moment they open the app.
  • Use the completion message to close the loop, wrap-up location, next activity, or a thank-you from the host.
