Turning a new office move into an interactive city experience.

Ciceron Group needed an activity that would introduce 110 colleagues to the neighbourhood around their client's new Stockholm office, without adding a production workstream to their own team. ReadySet built the game; Ciceron ran the event.

The Brief

A new office, and a neighbourhood worth exploring.

When Ciceron Group was planning an event for one of their clients, they wanted to create an activity that would bring more than 100 colleagues together while helping them discover the area surrounding their new office in central Stockholm.

Rather than simply taking participants on a guided walk, Ciceron wanted something more interactive, social and flexible — an experience that could run alongside the rest of the event programme without creating additional operational complexity for their team.

That is where ReadySet came in.

The Challenge

More than 100 people, one busy district.

Ciceron approached ReadySet with an event for approximately 120 participants taking place in and around Hötorget, one of Stockholm's busiest central districts. The client's employees were moving into a new office in the area, creating a natural opportunity to turn the surrounding neighbourhood into part of the event itself.

  • Discover the new area

Help colleagues get to know the streets, squares and landmarks around their new office.

  • Bond through play

Encourage interaction between teams while giving participants freedom to explore at their own pace.

  • Carry company content

Incorporate company-specific messaging, culture and objectives inside the activity.

  • Minimal admin

Fit around lunch, drinks and the rest of the schedule — with almost no game production work for Ciceron's team.

The final event included 110 participants, divided into teams of approximately five people, with the experience running for around five hours.

From Brief to Ready-to-Play

Central Stockholm, turned into a game board.

Ciceron managed the relationship with their client and provided input for selected activities connected to the company's own culture, goals and internal messaging. ReadySet took care of the rest.

We researched the area surrounding the client's new office and transformed central Stockholm into an interactive game board. The final experience included 41 checkpoints spread across the city centre, combining local landmarks, history, culture and educational trivia with team challenges and company-specific content.

Participants encountered historic squares, theatres, parks, cultural institutions and Stockholm landmarks, with activities ranging from trivia and numerical challenges to creative photo tasks.

Instead of spending time researching locations, writing questions, configuring activities and building the digital experience themselves, Ciceron could focus on the wider event and their client relationship.

More Than a Scavenger Hunt

A communication layer across the whole day.

The game was designed around the wider schedule, allowing participants to explore Stockholm while still being guided towards important meeting points at the right time.

Information about lunch, intermediate stops, pre-afterwork locations and the final evening venue could all be integrated into the experience. Organizers could also communicate directly with participants through the in-game chat.

This allowed the game to function as a digital layer across the entire event — not only entertaining participants, but also helping Ciceron coordinate the movement of more than 100 people through central Stockholm.

“At 15:00, make your way to your designated meeting point.”

The Results

Five hours, 41 checkpoints, one shared experience.

The competitive element gave participants an additional reason to keep exploring, while the open format allowed teams to choose their own routes and experience the neighbourhood together.

For Event Agencies

Giving agencies more without adding more work.

For Ciceron, ReadySet provided more than access to a gamification platform. We acted as a production partner.

Once the objectives, location and client-specific requirements had been established, ReadySet handled the creation of the digital experience — from researching the neighbourhood and developing content to building the checkpoints and packaging the game for delivery.

This meant Ciceron could offer their client a highly customized, interactive experience without adding another major production workstream to their own event team. Ciceron focused on the client and the overall event. ReadySet took care of the game.

41 checkpoints across central Stockholm turned squares, theatres, parks and landmarks into part of the event itself.

  • A digital layer over the whole day

Lunch, intermediate stops and the evening venue were built into the game, with in-game chat guiding 100+ people through the city.

  • Zero extra workstream

Ciceron focused on the client and the wider programme. ReadySet took care of the game.
